ABOUT

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Dogs have always played a big part in my lifetime.

They have supported me in my darkest moments and deepened me as a human being.

Every day they remind me that I don't have a LIFE, but that I am life itself,

as they help to anchor me to the present moment.

They are the gift that keeps on giving.

I feel grateful every day to be able to help others in my neighborhood to fulfill their dog's daily needs.

My approach to training is based on mutual trust, respect and love.

I have studied and am certified by the International College of Canine Behavioral Science to teach basic Dog obedience and have a good knowledge of Canine First Aid.

I adopted a Guide

dog 9 years ago that had failed the course for the blind.

They brought him to me and told me I could see if he works out and if not they would take him back and maybe bring me another Guide dog that had failed.

I took him for a walk down the block and I could hardly control him when he saw a squirrel so I was frantic, panicked and didn’t know what to do ...

But I knew Rob Weiss, and I knew he knew dogs better than anyone in the Westend. I thought he might be able to direct me as to whether I should keep the dog or send him back to the school ...

Rob came over right away and took him for a walk. When he came back and said to me...

"Don’t ever get rid of this dog he is terrific but you ... I need to work with you so you will be able to get him to behave. So let’s start now! "

From that moment on my dog, Kofi became my bestbuddy. I Learned I could enjoywalks with him, even with the squirrels by becoming his pack leader and practicing calm-assertive energy.

Rob just knows Dogs better than anyone I know.

Kofi is such a blessing in my life.
